My Fitness Journal is a private fitness journaling and general wellness app. This policy explains the data we use to run accounts, workouts, journal features, reminders, and the food and fitness helper.
Information We Collect
- Account details such as email address, name, and password hash.
- Profile details you provide, such as goal, fitness level, age, country, gender, height, weight, and weekly training target.
- Workout and activity information, including generated missions, exercises, completion status, and time spent exercising.
- Private journal content you choose to save, including mood, text notes, photos, and voice notes.
- Food and fitness helper messages so the app can respond to your wellness questions.
- Basic technical information needed to keep the service secure and working.
How We Use Information
- To create and secure your account.
- To generate daily missions and extra workouts from approved exercise data.
- To show your private journal, journey memories, streaks, and badges.
- To provide general eating, recovery, and sports habit guidance.
- To support optional reminders when you choose to enable them.
- To troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Photos, Voice Notes, and Permissions
Camera, photo library, and microphone access are optional. The app asks only when you choose to add a private journal photo or voice note.

My Fitness Journal provides general wellness guidance only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For medical concerns, injuries, pregnancy, eating disorders, or health conditions, contact a qualified professional.
Account Deletion
You can request account deletion from inside the app through the account menu and delete account flow. Deleting your account removes your private app data from the production database, subject to limited retention in backups or logs for security and operational reasons.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We use service providers only where needed to operate the app, including hosting, database, media storage, exercise data, and AI processing.
